Muñoz crafted mysterious, theatrical installations populated by life-sized figures in mid-conversation or contemplation. Blurring sculpture, architecture, and narrative, his work explores isolation, illusion, and audience engagement. His work is held by Tate, Guggenheim, and Reina Sofía.
